Abu Dhabi Dream Ball 2022: All The Auction Items We Can’t Wait To Bid On
Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Cabinet member and the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, this year’s gala will be raising funds to support refugees throughout the region
With one day to go until Abu Dhabi Dream Ball, the anticipation and excitement are starting to build, but especially so around both the live and silent auction.
Founded by Abu Dhabi-based collective Sawtouna and in partnership with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, the biggest event in the winter social calendar focuses on supporting important charitable causes; this year funds will be raised for Anera, an organisation that supports refugees in Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan.
The night is set to be filled with nothing short of glitz and glam including the live auction which will be held by the renowned British auctioneer, Addison Gelpey who will be flying in from London to take centre stage.
There will be 15 slots supplied in the live auction and over 20 additional lots in the silent auction – highlighted items include a weeklong Maldives holiday at the Soneva resort to priceless experiences such as tickets to Paris Fashion Week and Elie Saab Couture experiences inclusive of a hotel stay in Paris, France.
Additionally, stunning fine jewellery pieces from Al Fardan Jewellery and Roberto Coin will be on display throughout the night and will be included in the auction – as well as a one-year family membership to the Emirates Palace Beach Club and a number of international artworks donated by various established artists such as Leila Heller Gallery who is based in both NYC and Dubai.
The illustrious event will allow those attending to participate in the exclusive live and silent auction throughout the night as well as being able to contribute to the cause through live donations and purchases of tables and tickets.
