Renowned Iranian artist Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian speaks with Harper's Bazaar Art's Editor-in-Chief Rebecca Anne Proctor on how she creates her intricate mirrored works and drawings

Famous for her exquisite range of geometric mirror works as well as carpets and colourful drawings, through her work nonagenarian Iranian artist Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian combines her Persian heritage with contemporary and abstract forms. On the occasion of the opening of her solo presentation Infinite Geometry at The Third Line’s new space in Alserkal Avenue, she talks to Bazaar Art about her life in New York and Tehran and art as a form of meditation.
