The exhibition is inspired by the beauty of language

Opera Gallery Dubai is set to begin the season with More than Words, an exhibition featuring a wide range of works with a focus on text. Artworks by American artist Mel Bochner, English artist Tracey Emin, Italian sculptor Alessandro Algardi and others will be on show. Visitors will also find an evocative untitled work from 1981 by the legendary Jean-Michel Basquiat. The selected artists have incorporated language, symbols and imagery to express their unique visions.

Featured works such as Air (2015) by New York-based contemporary artist Roy Nachum and Origin (2018) by Belgian sculptor Fred Eederkens aim to spark conversation around semantics and imagery.
