The Museum of Illusions is set to open its doors this September 12, and promises to bring an afternoon of deception and trickery for the whole family.
Poised to be the biggest edition yet – the Museum of Illusions is already open in several cities around the world including Oman, Austria, Germany, Malaysia and more -, the chain will open its door in Al Seef on the Dubai Creek, and will house 80 exhibits that will offer visitors the most unique visual and sensory experience. Guests are invited and encourage to interact with the displays, unlike most traditional museum setups.
“Museum of Illusions Dubai exhibits have been carefully selected to ensure the widest possible appeal to the city’s uniquely cosmopolitan residents and international tourists,” saus Varvara Svischeva, Manager, Museum of Illusions Dubai. “We pride ourselves on being a destination for all ages and this is reflected in the diversity of exhibits and the overall experience.
“The human brain is an incredibly complex computer that perceives and interprets reality through an elaborate process of gathering information from each of our senses. When engaging with our illusions, the mind will combine some details and exclude others to create a sensory experience that defies logic. It’s always incredible seeing the universal human response to Museum of Illusions exhibits – it’s the same reactions all over the world.”
The Museum of Illusions will open on 12 September at 2pm at Al Seef, Dubai Creek.
