Finally winter is upon us! Lucky for us we don’t have to battle the cold with heavy coats and snow boots but we still need to up our beauty game to adjust to the weather. Winters in Dubai mean drier air and more dust, and with party season in full gear, skin needs to be super prepped and protected. Here are a few beauty hacks to lift your mood, brighten your day and, of course, help you look a little better.
1. Use a CC Cream
SPF is a must all months of the year but try adding some colour and correction to the mix. My personal favorite is Erborian CC Creme High Definition Radiance Face Cream. It works like magic! It's a white cream but once you apply it to skin, it adjusts to your skin tone providing light coverage. This amazing product with SPF 25, and it also smooths out imperfections and diminishes pores while making your skin look more radiant and refreshed.

2. Bright Lips Don’t Care
Personally, when I wear bright lipstick I instantly feel a little happier and little more polished. It adds some pep to my step, so to speak. I love Maybelline Baby Lips Crayon in Sassy Scarlet. Its high in pigment and super moisturising. A couple of other winter lip options are Pat McGrath LABS Luxe Trance in Beauty Junkie and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick in Shimmering Hot Pink. There’s nothing a little colour can’t fix!

3. Moisturise, Moisturise, Moisturise!
Now that the humidity is behind us moisturising is a must. Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil is a super luxurious dry face oil that does wonders for your complexion. It literally sinks into skin providing immediate hydration and gives you that glow from within look. Kiss your lines and wrinkles goodbye and say hello to plumped and radiant skin!

4. Just Mask It!
Don’t forget to give some TLC to your hair. During winter months, hair tends to get drier and more brittle so it’s a good idea to use a treatment mask once a week. I love the Ouai Treatment Masque. After just one use, my hair feels and looks much healthier. Another option is to make a mask at home. An easy DIY concoction is to mix one tablespoon of honey with one tablespoon of coconut oil, heat them until they melt and then apply to hair for 20 minutes. Rinse and voila, your tresses will be transformed!

5. Love your body!
Now that bikini season is over it's easy to neglect taking care of your body. Don't forget to exfoliate and moisturize those limbs, ladies. I usually keep a body scrub in the shower and try to use it every other day. Afterwards I slather on Clarins Huile Tonic. It smells gorgeous and makes skin oh-so soft. I got hooked on it after my first pregnancy and have been using it every since. Its made from 100 per cent pure plant extracts and helps to firm, tone, improve skin elasticity, and reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

6. Micellar Water, The Holy Grail of All Products
Micellar water is one product I literally cannot live without. It’s made up of micelles which are tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules that are suspended in soft water. It draws out impurities, and can be used as a cleanser and make-up remover. Just put a little on a cotton pad and sweep away all of the dirt and grime from a long day. It’s an easy product to use that ensures you’ll never have to fall asleep with your mak-eup on. I use it every night and my clean face thanks me for it.
