American-Palestinian Music Duo, Simi And Haze Khadra Launch Their Make-Up Brand In The GCC
SimiHaze Beauty is now available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait
US-Palestinian DJ duo Simi and Haze Khadra’s eponymous cosmetics line is now available to shop in the region, it was announced on February 29.
SimiHaze Beauty just landed on the Sephora Middle East website on March 1. You will now be able to add the Velvet Blur Matte Lipstick Balm and their Melting Bronzer to your makeup bag as well as a total of 12 different products that are currently listed on the portal.
The twins shared the announcement on their Instagram Stories earlier, saying that they had been working for a long time to bring the range to the region. They also posted a countdown to the launch. The line is now available in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
They also shared a video expressing their excitement at the launch. “We’ve been anticipating this moment since day one. We’ve heard your requests, seen all your messages, and thanks to your support, we’re bringing all your favourite products to your doorstep,” they said.
Their line of make-up is described as “products that enhance, not cover, and textures as unique as you are. A Multi-function approach with an ease of use to build a full look with minimal products”.
The range which seems to be a reflection of the duo’s trendy style, comes in futuristic chunky packaging in solid colours and each item comes in various shades.
The twins launched their US-based cosmetics brand in 2021 with a line of multi-purpose stick makeup, which can be used for a minimalistic or bold look.
They had also released a sticker book featuring an array of edgy designs inspired by their favourite DJ looks from the past, such as chrome wings, neon eyeliner, and holographic cat-eyes. One of their most recent products are the Eye Play glittery accents for the face.
The line then expanded to lipsticks, bronzing balms, lifting mascara, setting powder, and more.
The DJ sisters grew up between Riyadh, Dubai, and London and are known for playing sets at Coachella. They are often spotted alongside the likes of Kylie and Kendall Jenner and their brother, Fai Khadra, a US-based model, is also often in the spotlight.
