Make-up hacks, style secrets and more, straight from the Founder of Peacefull…

MAKE-UP / FRAGRANCE

Favourite make-up brand and why? I am a ride-or-die Morphe stan! The products are of excellent quality, easy to use, and offer a good range to choose from.

Foundation / concealer: The KVD Beauty Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Foundation Balm is my go-to (7. Dhs165). With this foundation, I don’t have to mix different shades to find my match, they have so many options to choose from, it’s great. And for concealer, it has
to be Fenty’s Pro Filt’r (9. Dhs115).

Go-to lip colour: I’m always going on and on about the MAC Powderkiss Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Impulsive’ (2.Dhs110). It’s so natural and I feel super-comfortable when I wear it.

Mascara: I use KVD Beauty Go Big Or Go Home Volumizing Mascara (1. Dhs120), I instantly look like I’m wearing false lashes with only one layer on. It’s the holy grail of mascaras!

Signature scent: Byredo’s Mixed Emotions (8. Dhs964), I love the Arabesque notes that flow through, it feels so nostalgic.

Make-up hack: Mixing Peacefull’s Ever Glow Moisturiser with a tinted setting powder to create my own DIY tinted moisturiser. Try it, you’ll thank me later!

HAIR

Hair schedule: Normally, I wash my hair three times a week. However, if I go hard at the gym, then it could be more.

Style secret: I use a T-shirt as a towel to wrap my hair after washing, which I’ve found prevents frizziness, makes it bouncy and helps retain the moisture.

Treatments: Is dyeing my hair considered a treatment? No one sees my hair but I often experiment with colours, rose gold being one of my favourites.

Favourite products: OLAPLEX (6. Dhs150) has been a saviour. Also, Too Cool For School hair
masks are the bomb! (5. Dhs110).

Off-duty hair look: You can’t go wrong with a messy bun.

Bad hair day secret: Dry shampoo for volume, I swear by the Green Tea Dry Shampoo from the Sephora Collection.

SKIN & BODY

Skincare routine: In the evenings, I start with Peacefull’s Mugwort Clay Mask to cleanse my face. If I’m wearing make-up, I’ll double-cleanse. After. I use my hands to apply the Endless
Purifying Toner
. I love this step as it’s an essence-enriched toner, so I’m getting maximum hydration on the deepest level. Next, I use an undereye cream by Peacefull followed by retinol. And finally, I use our Ever Glow Moisturiser (4. Dhs196) and what I love is it doesn’t leave you feeling like a glazed doughnut. I apply the same products in the morning, but the
only difference being I’ll put on some SPF, a very important step that should never be missed.

Flight essentials: I always make sure my skin is prepped before the flight takes off to ensure it feels healthy despite the dry air on the plane – a sheet mask is essential.

Miracle product: Peacefull’s Mugwort Clay Mask is my superhero!

Manicure: I usually get my nails done at home. For my toes, I go with Bubble Bath by OPI (3.Dhs52) and for my fingers, Essie’s St Tropez.

Sun cream: I use La Roche Posay’s Anthelios Invisible Spray.

DIET & FITNESS

Food intolerances: I can’t have any gluten or dairy products.

Go-to snack: You’ll almost always find me snacking on a bag of unsalted almonds.

Workout method: I recently started training with Yasir Khan. Right now, the focus is strength and conditioning exercises, which I do three times a week.

Guilty food pleasures: I have many – Nutella and red apples with peanut butter top the list.

Beverage preference: Tea all the way – Lipton, Twinings, all of them! I love brewing a pot of orange tea with ginger and honey.

Food dislikes: I love all food, I eat everything. It’s probably the Taurus in me.
