Under The Spell Of Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori
In celebration of the blossoming of the scent Arab influencers Dima Al Sheikhly, Mthayel Al Ali, Hala Kashif and Yara Alnamlah journey into its garden of dreams…
“Perfume is like a spell, and the women wearing it put a spell on the world.” – Alessandro Michele
Hauntingly beautiful, mysterious and simply addictive, the new Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori certainly is not for the faint-hearted.
Boasting an intoxicating trio of jasmine bud extract, tuberose and rangoon creeper the fragrance is both captivating and mysterious, bringing us on an enchanting journey into garden like other.
“Flowers, in this case, mediate this spell, and Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori is a powerful conversation with them. It is intense, it really enters the world of nature,” says Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, who joined forces with master perfumer Alberto Morillas in developing the scent.
When it came to creating the first fragrance under his vision, Alessandro notes that the biggest challenge was “letting the flowers speak, fearlessly.”
And while the perfume contains subtle notes of ylang ylang and sandalwood, the tuberose and jasmine are very much the standouts flowers within the Profumo di Fiori garden.
In the words of singer-songwriter Florence Welch, who stars in the campaign alongside actor Angelica Huston, designer Susie Cave and model Jodie Turner-Smith, “there’s a darkness and a heaviness to it that makes the perfume feel warm and comforting without being claustrophobic; it envelopes you in the best way.”
We couldn’t agree more.
