The bob is well and truly back

The long bob (‘lob’ for short) is showing no signs of relinquishing its status as the hottest celebrity go-to hairstyle anytime soon. Over the past few years we’ve seen the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence take the plunge and go for a sharper, shorter, cut.

And at yesterday’s Met Gala, several of fashion’s most famous faces debuted shorter do’s on the red carpet. Karlie Kloss gave us major Posh Spice vibes circa 2006 when Victoria Beckham’s haircut inspired its very own name – the Pob – whilst Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez both showed off softer, collarbone-grazing cuts. Naomi Campbell also got the memo, showcasing a chic, straight bob cut to her chin and even though the Jenner/Kardashian clan are known for regualrly switching up their hairstyles, last night Kendall, Kylie and Kim all chose lob-length hair with stunning effect.
