Huda Beauty Is Launching A Fragrance
Here’s what we know about the new scent
Forbes’ ranking of America’s Richest Self-Made women dropped recently, with make-up moguls featuring heavily on the list – the likes of Kylie Jenner, Anastasia Soare and Huda Kattan are proving that beauty is big business. And Dubai-based Huda is showing no sign of slowing down.
In the latest episode of her new Facebook show Huda Boss, the entrepreneur revealed that her eponymous make-up line will soon launch a fragrance.
Following the revelation on the show, her sister and business partner, Mona Kattan, posted a clip with the caption: “It’s official guys!! We’re launching our own fragrance!! Years in the making! I’ve been dying to share this with you all! Check out the latest episode of @hudaboss for more behind the scenes!!! #perfumeprincess I can’t wait to share this with you all!!! We’ve put our hearts into this! Stay tuned for more details!!”
During the episode, Mona discussed her love of fragrance. “I love perfume. I love it so much that I have dedicated an entire room in my house to perfume,” she said. “I feel like this project is a special baby for us and having a brand born out of social media, it’s really important for us to capture content every step of the way.”
The project has already seen Mona travel to Grasse in France – an area renowned for its rose and jasmine flowers, as well as the home of perfume for many major fashion houses.
There’s no word yet on the date of the perfume launch, but as we’ve seen in a previous episode which focused on Huda Beauty’s now cult-favourite concealer, it won’t be released until they are 100 percent happy with the product.
