Orly Releases The First Halal-Friendly Nail Polish Collection

The brand has teamed up with MuslimGirl.com for the collection

Say hello to your new favourite range of nail polishes, aptly named #HalalPaint.

Beauty brand Orly has joined forces with MuslimGirl.com to create an incredible new range of nail polishes that are entirely halal-friendly, marking a huge milestone for diversity in the beauty industry. 

The collection contains six colours, each of which are made from 100% halal ingredients (as well as argan oil and C+ B5 vitamins) and have excellent names like “What The Fatima?”, “Ig-Noor The Haters”, “Wallah Bro Wipe Out”, “#MuslimGirlFire”, and “Haram-Bae”. 

How are the nail polishes halal-friendly you ask? Well, unlike regular nail polishes that prevent water from passing through the varnish barrier, the #HalalPaint colours are made from water- and air-permeable materials meaning users can partake in ablution whilst wearing the shades.

Of the collection, MuslimGirl.com wrote on its website, “There’s no reason why options shouldn’t be available for all women to practice beauty in the way that suits them and satisfies their needs. We’re not defined by mainstream industries, we’re redefining them.”

The collection is not currently available to buy outside of the US but we’re not-so secretly hoping it makes its way to our shores very soon.
