In a bid to help consumers choose the right beauty products based on their skin type and colour preference, Saudi beauty e-commerce site Golden Scent has introduced their Virtual Try-On feature, which enables shoppers to try different make-up without having to physically do so.

The new shopping experience marks not only the online fashion retailer, but the entire region’s first augmented reality (AR) experience and aims to offer customers a new way of viewing its products in real life.

It will also help cut down carbon emissions from unnecessary journeys taken by drivers who deliver products that are subsequently returned.
