Staz Lindes Is The New Face Of Yves Saint Laurent Beauté
And she’s seriously cool
Having walked for Saint Laurent during the Hedi Slimane years, 24-year-old model/musician/photographer Staz Lindes also served as the designer’s muse, solidifying her position as a Saint Laurent girl. And now, the blonde beauty has just been named as the new face of the brand’s beauty range.
Staz currently plays guitar for The Paranoyds, a rock and roll girl band based out of the States, and is the daughter of Dire Straights guitarist Hal Lindes – making her the perfect face for the edgy French brand.
WWD reports that Lindes will appear in ads for “Vernis à Lèvres, Touche Eclat, Tint in Balmin 2017 and the spring look for the L’Oréal-owned brand.”

On their choice, YSL said in a statement, “In today’s fast-paced, digital world, individuality, experimentation and a fearlessness tempered by self-awareness are what define truly iconic beauty. [Staz] encapsulates the very essence of 21st-century beauty and is a true representation of strong femininity today.”
Keep an eye out for her on billboards everywhere in the coming months.
