We might be heading into autumn, but the heat's still rising in the Middle East. Fight the look of dull, flat hair and the inevitable frizz with one of these (surprisingly quick) straight-off-the-catwalk coifs
THE CAREFREE CLIPS: Choose a selection of smaller bobby pins or two large, embellished clips and place them on each side of the head. Make sure they are even and straighten the hair underneath to ensure they lie flat on the head.
THE TWIN BUNS: Split your hair into two equal sections using a fine comb. Twist your two pigtails to transform them into small messy buns on the top of your head.
THE TOUSLED PONYTAIL: Apply a generous amount of mousse through the ends of your hair and scrunch it upwards to create volume. Leave to air dry before pulling back into a loose ponytail tied at the centre of the head.
THE VA-VA VOLUME: Wash your hair without a conditioner and blow-dry upside down. Apply a generous amount of coconut oil to your hands and run through the hair in sections to add shine and softness. Tease the roots of your hair with a small comb and shake through with your fingers.
THE EASY PIGTAILS: Start by splitting your hair into two equal sections using a fine comb. Take three equal-sized strands and slowly braid then from the top of your hair moving down, inserting the remaining hair into the braid as you go. Tie with a clear hairband and repeat on the other side.

THE HAUTE HEADBAND: Slick back those pesky flyaway strands around your face with an elastic headband. Extra points if you embrace this season's athleisure trend by pairing with a high ponytail and fresh-faced make-up.
THE CORNROWS: Wash your hair and apply a dry oil before starting splitting your hair into ten equal sections using a fine comb. Take three equal-sized strands and slowly braid then from the top of your hair moving down, inserting the remaining hair into the braid as you go. Tie with a clear hairband and repeat on the other side.
THE NEW BUN: Pull the hair into a centre parting, braid two strands from each side and tie it at the base of your neck. Hairspray any loose pieces around the hairline, then braid the remaining hair and secure with a clear hairband. Bring the bottom of the braid underneath itself and push it upwards, securing with a bobby pin.
THE BUN AND BANGS: Work with freshly-washed hair and comb it back into a tight bun at the top of your crown - but not as high as a top knot. Pull out one or two strands from the front of your hair and twist them with your fingers before pulling behind your ears.
THE BRAID: Spray the crown and ends of your hair with a leave-in conditioner to add shine before pulling it all to the nape of your neck. Braid all the way down and add accessories
THE SEMI VOLUME: Wash your hair and braids them the night before with dry oil. In the morning, open your braids and tease the roots of your hair with a small comb and brush down your front hair with a small amount of coconut oil
