Health is just one taste away with these 6 superfoods

First it was coconut water. Then came avocado toast. Here are some of the latest superfoods worth trying now.

What: Beets (or Beetroot Juice)
Good for: Boosting endurance, improving blood flow, and helping muscles use oxygen more efficiently. Great pre-workout.
Tastes like: Earthy and slightly sweet — juice form is the easiest to drink before training.
Find it: Look for beet juice shots in health stores, or add roasted beets to your meals.

What: Mushroom tea
Good for: Immunity, stress reduction and other health benefits. Ask for reishi (good for hormones), cordyceps (handy for athletes) or chaga (full of antioxidants).
Tastes like: The tea looks a bit like watery coffee and tends to taste like weak coffee.

What: Salmon
Good for: Muscle repair and recovery, reducing inflammation, supporting heart and joint health.
Tastes like: Rich, oily, and savory. Can be grilled, baked, or eaten raw in sushi.
Find it: Widely available at supermarkets, fishmongers, or as smoked salmon for a quick fix.
