MAKE-UP / FRAGRANCE

Favourite make-up brand and why? Benefit. I’ve been using their products for more than 15 years now. I love the Gimme Brow+ Volumising gel, Roller Liner eyeliner (1. Dhs125) and Hoola matte bronzer.

Foundation / concealer: I never use foundation. Make-up for me is just a way to subtly enhance features or conceal minimal flaws. My go-to is the Dior Forever Skin Correct concealer in 1.5 neutral.

Lip essentials: MAC Cosmetics Mull It Over Powder Kiss lipstick and Soar lip pencil (6. Dhs80). Trish McEvoy Lip Perfector Conditioning Balm (3. Dhs118).

Mascara: Currently using the Better Than Love black mascara by Two Faced. It’s super effective.

Signature scent: Can’t live without these two hair mists; Chanel No.5 (2. Dhs245) and Byredo’s Bal D’Afrique (5. Dhs290).

Make-up hack: Not sure if this is considered a hack, but I love doing natural eyelash extensions. Once I have them done, I don’t need any make-up.

HAIR

HAIR Hairstylist: I’ve been going to Les Doer Salon. They glammed me up with a new look for my recent movie premiere at the Red Sea Film Festival.

Hair schedule: I get a blow dry twice a week. I have never dyed my hair and I rarely cut it, I just get a trim every now and then to maintain the health of the hair. I’m like a hair hippie!

Style secret: Definitely my curler wand, after a blow dry I like big natural waves, it is my go-to look.

Treatments: I love using natural products for my hair, I rotate between aloe vera, castor and cactus oils. You really don’t need anything else.

Favourite products: Oribe Priming Lotion Leave In Conditioning Detangler (9. Dhs220), Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector and No. 6 Bond Smoother (12. Dhs150).

Off-duty hair look: A messy high bun. Bad hair day secret: Dry shampoo or a hat! Both work miracles.

SKIN & BODY

Skincare routine: I use the Sisley Paris Neck Cream, Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum, Crème de la Mer face cream (10. Dhs350 for 15ml), Tata Harper Restorative Eye Crème, and the C-Firma Day Serum from Drunk Elephant (7. Dhs418). I rotate a lot between different moisturisers, and have recently been using Protini Polypeptide Cream by Drunk Elephant.

Cleansers: The Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser (8. Dhs265) is the best! Flight focus: I love the Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water by Fresh, I spray that a lot on my face during any flight.

Miracle product: RevitaLash and RevitaBrow conditioners (4. Dhs473). I’ve never used a product that literally does what it says but these make my lashes and brows really thick. They are miracle workers!

Manicure: Believe it or not, I do my own nails, and my go to colour is OPI’s Lisbon Wants Moor (11. Dhs52). Sun cream: La Mer The Broad Spectrum SPF 50 UV Protecting Fluid; I just trust anything from La Mer!

INTERVENTION

Attitude to injectables: Terrified, but will eventually do it. I’m hoping to find the fountain of youth in the meantime.

Future intervention: Definitely Botox!

Secret surgeries: Not a surgery, but currently doing Invisalign, it’s been a year and I’m almost finished!

DIET & FITNESS

Food intolerances: I don’t eat meat and haven’t since I was a kid. Go-to snack: Mixed nuts and dried fruits.

Workout schedule: Swimming and Pilates. Guilty food pleasures: Dots’ glazed dougnut bits and Nutella crepes!

Beverage picks: Black coffee, iced matcha with coconut milk, and green juices.

Breakfast: Açai bowls or banana pancakes with honey.
