Alexa Chung has long been a source of hair inspo, so it may come as no surprise that the style setting It-girl has landed herself a major role as the newest ambassador for L’Oreal Professionel, L'Oreal haircare's in-salon line of hair colour and styling products.
The 34-year old model took to Instagram to share the news. Chung posted the ad campaign that showcases her shoulder-length locks in a perfectly tousled I-woke-up-like-this finish. She wrote, "Woop woop! Very happy to be joining the @lorealpro family this year. Presumably because I pretend to be French a lot, I am the muse for their #ParisianNudes collection. #lorealpro #sponsored #maisoui".
According to a post on L'Oreal Pro's own Instagram account, the Parisian Nudes collection is "is a very new multi-tonal technique for unique Parisian style nude hair colour." The salon-only colour technique is essentially a more subtle take on ombré hair; it consists of darker roots and slightly lighter ends.
The British model-turned-fashion designer first worked with the beauty brand back in 2013 fronting their Iona colour line. L'Oréal Professionnel's announcement on social media, however, note that Chung is "joining the family this year," so we’ve got our fingers crossed for plenty more #HairGoals in the coming year.
2018 has kicked off to a good start for Alexa!
