Rihanna Just Teased A Black Fenty Beauty Lipstick
The Fenty Beauty drops just keep coming
We’re calling it now: 2018 is going to be the year of lipsticks. Just days after Kylie Jenner announced she’s launching 20 new Kylie Cosmetics bullet lipsticks, Rihanna showed up to remind us that when it comes to crazy lipstick colours, she’s the bonafide Queen. It appears that a black shade will be the next big launch from Fenty Beauty.
The singer-turned-beauty mogul snapped an Instagram story picture of a black lipstick bullet with the Fenty Beauty logo embossed on top. The lipstick appears to be the same formula as the ones she launched for her holiday Galaxy Collection – not a liquid formula like the red Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint launched last month.
While we haven’t seen swatches just yet, she did tease the shade on a zoomed-out Instagram—and it looks heavily pigmented. We wouldn’t expect anything less.
This isn’t the only major celebrity lipstick launch coming soon. In addition to the new Kylie Cosmetics lipsticks, Kim Kardashian West also told Bazaar.com that lipsticks will be a major launch from KKW Beauty in 2018. “We have amazing lip products and lip liners coming out. They’re not matte. They’re not glossy, they’re just really to me the perfect lipstick that stays on for so long,” says Kardashian West. “It’s a little bit creamy. But the perfect colours—the perfect colours. My make-up artists would always mix five colours to get the lip I am wearing for the day. I was like ‘You guys, I do not know how to recreate this.’ So I am going to make these shades.”
