Treat Yourself: Inside Saudi Influencer Yara Alnamlah’s New Salon
The content creator-turned-entrepreneur has made her first foray into the beauty world
Whether you’re matcha-ddicted, a skincare lover or are perpetually on Instagram, chances are you know who Yara Alnamlah is if you’re based in KSA. The trained architect, beauty, and fashion blogger is now a bona fide serial entrepreneur, opening up her newest venture in Riyadh following the successful launch of So Matcha. While Treat Salon might be the New Kid On The Beauty Block, for Yara it’s been three years in the making, a labour of love for the creator best known for her artful eye and impeccable taste.
When you first walk in, you are greeted warmly by the staff. As you bask in your surroundings, you’ll be feeling more relaxed everywhere you look – from the vibrant greenery in every corner to the crisp white walls, accented with bamboo detailing. In the So Matcha spirit, guests are presented with a selection of beverages to choose from when waiting for their appointments (the salon offers complimentary drinks, eye masks, and headphones to its clients.)

“I’ve had my fair share of 5-star salon experiences and I aim to bring all I know to Treat – and add more stars to it,” Yara tells Bazaar Arabia. “All my businesses are under one umbrella, one lifestyle company… you wake up and drink your So Matcha, do your Treat skincare, go to Treat salon, and also another project I can’t yet speak about, all to be part of your daily routine.”

For her favorite service, she said, is the Treat authentic hair treatment (which happens to be vegan) with a scalp massage. And as a busy woman herself, what she would recommend for the gal constantly on the go? “Definitely treat yourself with our hair and nail treatments for regular maintenance throughout the week, and, also, consider a lash extension – they cut a lot of time from your daily routine.”
As for her future vision, the rising businesswoman highlights how she has plans to “expand my lifestyle company to cover everything; from hair to nails to anything that comes to mind, You will see my name next to LVMH – but the Saudi version!”
“Back in 2017, the vision of 2030 for Saudi was announced and I realised I wanted to be part of that great vision, not knowing how but I started by looking for my passion and once I found what I was passionate about I kept going, I kept working,” she said. “I might be tired some days but I’m doing what I truly love.”
