The Dubai-based beauty blogger-turned-entrepreneur revealed she’ll be unveiling a new product today – but what could it be?
Home-grown hero Huda Kattan – founder of Huda Beauty and Wishful – is gearing up for one of her biggest launches of the year, preparing to welcome a new star product into the family. What is it? We don’t know.
Huda started beauty blog in 2010 and quickly gained a following for her makeup tutorials and product reviews. In 2013, she launched her first product, a line of false eyelashes, which was a huge success. Ever since, she has since expanded the brand to include a wide range of make-up products including foundation, concealer, eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, and highlighters. The company is now one of the most popular beauty brands in the world, with over 40 million followers on Instagram. Its success even led to the launch of Wishful, a skincare brand based on a minimalist philosophy that incorporates cruelty-free ingredients and Korean technologies.
Yesterday evening the make-up mogul shared a tongue-in-cheek teaser video, hyping up the launch which will be revealed today (presumably towards the evening.) Huda’s husband, Christopher Goncalo, even makes a star appearance, stopping her from “leaking” the news to the world ahead of launch date.

Judging from Huda’s Instagram Stories teasing the product (which is blocked out with a black square emoji), it appears to be packaged in a square container – meaning it likely isn’t a mascara, eyeliner or brow pencil.
A New Huda Beauty Quad or Palette?
Huda Beauty’s Tear and Share Lip products come in square packaging, meaning we can’t rule out a new lipstick or gloss quad. The brand has also launched a number of variations of its Obsessions palettes in similar-sized pans.
Or a Loose Powder, perhaps?
One of the brand’s most popular products, Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder, is packaged in a square plastic container; therefore, it would only be natural to assume that Huda could be launching another powder product to help us achieve a snatched look.
Could it be a new cream product?
Tantour Contour & Bronzer Cream is another one that comes in square packaging, meaning perhaps Huda has another face product on the way. Full coverage foundation? A new concealer?
