YSL Beauty Unveils Libre L’Eau Nue With A Coastal Celebration On Egypt’s North Shore

Encased in an ultra-chic new white bottle, YSL beauty launched Libre L’Eau Nue surrounded by the sea, stars and stylish guests

With a celebration as luminous as the Mediterranean itself, YSL Beauty marked the Egyptian launch of Libre L’Eau Nue with a sultry evening on the North Coast last week, where scent, sea, and sensuality came together as one. Hosted at My Ōtel, The Waterway, the event attracted the region’s biggest names, keen to spritz the scent of summer itself and enjoy a little sea breeze as the season draws to a close.

The latest addition to the house’s iconic Libre collection, L’Eau Nue introduces an alcohol-free, oil-based fragrance designed to scent both skin and hair. Subtle yet lasting, it blends bright citrus notes with airy florals to evoke the softness of sun-warmed skin. The scent is housed in the first-ever white Libre bottle; a chic addition to any dressing table. Globally fronted by Dua Lipa, L’Eau Nue makes the perfect pre-fall perfume – eeking out the scent of summer as we shift into autumn styling and back to our workwear wardrobes.

The glittering event’s guest list read like a roll call of regional names to know – actors, tastemakers, fashion insiders, and creatives gathered at an elegant shoreside soirée with an immersive scent zone, VIP lounge and open air dance floor.

Egypt’s North Coast made for the perfect setting – marrying the classic with the contemporary, it spoke to YSL Beauty’s intention to root itself in the local landscape while staying true to its Parisian heritage, highlighting the North Coast’s current pedigree as a cult destination to see and be seen.

As the night closed under starlit skies and the scent lingered in the air, there was no denying the perfume’s implicit ideology: unadulterated freedom.
