Established by Nadine Kanso, Bil Arabi’s latest collection is designed in the brand’s distinctive graffiti style and centres on themes of positivity and happiness. Featuring words such as “Life”, “Willpower” and “Love”, the collection includes rings, earrings and pendants, and is one of the brand’s only ranges created in enamel.
Bil Arabi's collections have always been handmade in the U.A.E., but Nadine explains that she has long had difficulty finding a manufacturer to deliver the desired enamel finish. The opening of The Jewel Teller in autumn last year provided the perfect partnership opportunity with its founders Susana Martins and Hayan Othman. Bil Arabi now has these enamel Mina jewels produced from The Jewel Teller’s in-house workshop, as well as a number of their other pieces.

The pop up exhibition features highlights of the Mina collection, with the gallery’s floor emblazoned with Bil Arabi hashtags and a backdrop of one of Nadine’s own photographs. The image of her native Beirut is titled “We Arabs” and aptly reflects Nadine’s background as both a photographer and haute jewellery designer, culminating in her current role as modern Arabia’s creative ambassador to the world.
The display is part of The Jewel Teller’s ongoing mission to support and promote regional jewellery brands from its showroom in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai’s premier arts hub. In addition to its own high jewellery collections, the gallery includes the workshop and design studio, creating bespoke commissions in a relaxed and educational environment.
