Anant Ambani And Radhika Merchant Are Hosting A Pre-Wedding Function Today
The couple will invoke blessings and good fortune for their marriage by first giving back to the community
With less than two weeks to go to until the highly-anticipated nuptials of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the billionaire couple’s pre-wedding celebrations are ramping up.
After taking guests on a luxury cruise to the French Riviera in May, and previously hosting an extravagant pre-wedding party in Jamnagar, Gujarat in March, attended by the likes of Rihanna, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and more, the son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani and daughter of business tycoon Viren Merchant, will now host a mass function for the underprivileged.
Ahead of the grand celebration on July 12, the couple will celebrate their union with the less fortunate at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in the Palghar District on July 2.
Both Anant and Radhika are passionate about philanthropy and uplifting their community.
The Reliance Foundation, founded by Nita Ambani and in which Anant holds a directorial position, undertakes charitable initiatives in India focusing on healthcare, education, and rural development, while the couple were previously pictured distributing food to villagers as part of their pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar.
This practice of giving back embraces an age-old Indic custom which sees service to humanity as a catalyst for blessings and good fortune. The Ambani family have made it a tradition to commence significant family functions with a charitable endeavour.
The official wedding festivities will begin on Friday, July 12 with the sacred Shubh Vivah ceremony in which guests have been requested to dress in traditional Indian attire.
On Saturday, they will host the Shubh Aashirwad ritual, while the main wedding ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 14. Guests have been asked to dress Indian chic, according to the invites.
