The Dubai Sports Council Chairman, HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attended a large wedding ceremony including 50 couples in Dubai yesterday, on October 22, 2023. 

According to WAM, the event was organised by the Ministry of Community Development, and supported by prominent Emirati businessman, Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor, Founder and Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group. 

The wedding ceremony took place at the five-star hotel Hilton Dubai located in Al Habtoor City, Sheikh Zayed Road. 

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum extended his best wishes to the newlyweds as they embarked on a new journey in their lives. His Excellency Nasser Ismail, Assistant Undersecretary of Social Welfare at the Ministry of Community Development, Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor, Rashid Khalaf Al Habtoor, a number of senior officials, families of the newlyweds and other guests also attended the nuptials.

The event aims to showcase the social significance of such mass wedding ceremonies and emphasises how they serve to promote harmony in the local community.
