Inside Dana Hallani’s Magical Engagement Ceremony
The picturesque affair was filled traditional Lebanese music and dancing as the long-term couple gear up for their wedding
After a dreamy seaside proposal in Marbella last month, Dana Hallani, daughter of acclaimed Lebanese singer, Assi El Hallani, celebrated her impending nuptials with an exquisite engagement party in Beirut last night.
The Dubai-based chef and her fiancé, Alain Saad, were surrounded by friends and family in an intimate garden soirée.
Taking to Instagram Dana shared pics of the lively occasion, showcasing elaborate floral installations, multiple tiered cakes, and an abundance of lit candles scattered throughout the venue.
Matching the pink and purple decor, Dana wore a stunning lilac gown by Georges Hobeika, featuring soft, flowing tulle and sequin embellishments. She paired the look with natural makeup by Joe Abou Jaoude and slicked back hair by Tony El Mendelek.
In one post, Alain can be seen placing a ring on Dana’s wedding finger, while others show the jubilant couple dancing and singing together, before cutting one of their cakes as confetti falls from above.
In attendance were Dana’s father, her mother Colette Hallani, brother Al Walid Hallani who is also a successful artist, and sister Maritta Hallani, a renowned singer and actress and former Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Bride cover star. During the festivities, both Maritta and Assi took turns entertaining the crowd.
Dana is the founder of L’Étoile Privée, a startup that specialises in providing private dining experiences, while Alain works as a financial trader.
