The guest list read like a roll call of Hollywood’s red carpet regulars: Oprah Winfrey cruised the lagoon’s waters alongside Orlando Bloom and Kylie Jenner, while Ivanka Trump added to the tableau in a gown in what appears to be the preferred shade of the event – perfectly saccharine pink. The three-day celebration, unfolding between the opulent palazzi and quaint streets of the floating city, culminates in a lavish party on Saturday evening.
But it was Lauren’s couture moment that stole the scene. The 55-year-old bride wore a bespoke Dolce & Gabbana gown in ivory lace, an intricate dress with long sleeves and a flared silhouette that echoed the setting’s romantic ambiance. In a photograph shared on social media, Lauren appeared radiant beside Bezos, 61, framed against the Venetian skyline.
Friday’s ceremony took place on the private island of San Giorgio Maggiore, where 200 of the couple’s closest friends gathered for an intimate exchange of vows. The event was planned by wedding planner gurus Lanza and Baucina, while musical grandeur was provided by Matteo Bocelli, son of Andrea Bocelli. For a few gilded days, Venice is once again the world’s most glamorous stage, brimming with sequins and star power.
