Is it more important to be liked or respected?
Respected. Respect usually comes from consistent behaviour and genuine qualities, and it’s gained based on your actions, integrity and the value you bring to others. This in turn leads to more meaningful relationships, so I would always prefer to be respected instead of liked.

Do you have a book that changed your life?
Yes, The Crisis of the Modern World by René Guénon.

What did your last Spotify Wrapped look like?
My top three songs were The Blue Café by Chris Rea; Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell; and Roma by Cairokee.

What is your motto?
God will solve everything.

What is the most over-rated virtue?
Modesty. I think claiming to be modest requires a certain level of self-awareness that can come off as arrogant, undermining the very essence of modesty.

Who are your heroes?
My daughters, Ella and Mia. They’re twins and are 14-years-old. I love witnessing their unique perspective on life. They inspire me with their determination, their kindness and they teach and challenge me to be a better person and a better mom to them every day.

What’s your greatest extravagance?
The banquets I make at home! It could be for three or five people but I’ll go above and beyond and bring out all my culinary skills, dishes, ambiance etc. They are definitely my greatest extravagance!

What would you tell your younger self?
I love you and that’s enough.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My desire for perfection. It doesn’t exist and it’s very tiring to chase something unattainable that in the end only leads you to pain.

What is your most treasured possession?
I don’t connect to possessions because one of my biggest trials in this world is to remain unattached and avoid placing value on materialistic things.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Venchi Gianduja chocolate. I keep it on my dresser and in my drawers in my office. It contains antioxidants, improves heart health, brain health and can boost your mood.

If you could be anyone else, who would it be?
I’d like to be a man for a day, just to see how they live. [laughing]

What are you proudest of?
I feel proud every time I’ve been successful at making a positive change in someone’s life.

What does success mean to you?
Ultimate success to me is when what’s in my heart and what’s in my mind are aligned with my reality.

What trait do you most admire in others?
Silence. I’m drawn to people who are naturally quiet and poised. Whenever I meet people like that, their calm demeanour is something I admire a lot and aspire to emulate myself.

Which experience has taught you the most about life?
Loss – it creates a sense of detachment but also puts things into perspective. The grief and sadness I experienced for the losses I faced was the biggest lesson on what’s the reality of life.

What do you value most in your friends?
Kindness.

What would you ban if you had the chance?
Labubus! [laughs]

If you could wear only one brand for the rest of your life, what would it be?
To tell you the truth, I love this Bombshell Sportswear brand that I have on right now.
