Mamma Mia! Inside Nemat Younes Fabulous Abba-Themed Bridal Bash

The pre-wedding affair was filled with disco balls, feel-good anthems and a healthy dash of 1970s nostalgia

Here at Bazaar Arabia there’s nothing we love more than a good theme, especially when it comes to pre-wedding celebrations.

This weekend guests of Nemat Younes and Adnan Ammache, the daughter of famed jeweller Yasser Younes, celebrated her upcoming nuptials with a healthy dose of nostalgia: she hosted a Mamma Mia-themed bridal bash complete with shimmering disco balls, dance floor and the iconic tunes of ABBA’s greatest hits.

Guests were transported back to an era of bell-bottoms and disco nights, enveloped in the infectious energy of Mamma Mia magic. Even the bride opted to wear a 70s inspired party dress, complete with statement sleeves. The bride-to-be wore a dress and matching heels by Reem Kachmar Couture, complete with sequins and pink and blue stars that perfectly captured the spirit of the night.

Gilbert Haddad was the party planning whiz behind the bash and flowers were done by Roni Bassil.

With more and more brides opting for unconventional or traditional ways of celebrating in the lead up to their Big Day, we except we’ll be seeing more celebrations like Nemat in the coming weeks.
