Nadya Hasan Exclusively Shares Her Bridal Beauty Secrets And Reveals The Treatments She Tried In The Run-Up To Her Big-Day | Beauty Diary

Skincare-obsessed content creator Nadya Hasan speaks to Bazaar Bride Editor Nina Catt about her bridal beauty routine

The Emirati digital creator stole hearts in a breathtaking Rami Al Ali gown. Here’s how she prepared for her big moment…

SKINCARE:

What was the main focus in the run-up to your wedding day? Great skin and white teeth. In the months leading up to the wedding, I really avoided being out in the sun. I also had a few hammams and body scrubs to get the glow back. My husband and I both went to Dr. Apa at Apa Aesthetic Dental Clinic in Dubai for teeth cleaning and whitening.

When did you start your bridal skincare regime? I’ve always had quite an intense skincare routine but I began more facials and deep-cleansing treatments around two months before the big day.

What was the best treatment you tried? I had a custom-made facial treatment that was specific to my needs at Izil Beauty Spa in The Dubai Mall. I absolutely loved it. I also tried their hammam for full-body and hair.

Charlotte Tilbury Cryo-Recovery face mask, Dhs265

Tell us about your at-home bridal regime? I got into face yoga and using different tools to tighten and firm the skin. My favourite things to use at home were Skin Gym’s rose quartz facial workout set (Dhs195) and Charlotte Tilbury’s new Cryo-Recovery face mask (Dhs265). I’m obsessed with the mask, it helps my skin look really fresh.

As for products, I love Fenty Skin’s Total Cleans’r (Dhs105), then I use the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA pore-tightening toner (Dhs130) followed by Dior’s Capture Totale 1-minute mask (Dhs325). After the mask, it’s Whind Marrakech Light illuminating magic oil or Estée Lauder Advanced night Repair Serum (Dhs450) which honestly works wonders. Then, I moisturise with Glow Recipe’s Plum Plump hyaluronic cream and finally finish off with Charlotte Tilbury’s Cryo-Recovery eye serum.

COSMETICS & FRAGRANCE:

What lip colour did you wear? I went for a nude shade and wore Makeup by Mario’s Ultra Suede lipstick in Sierra (Dhs95).

Did you wear false lashes, or have lash extensions? I used individual falsies from Huda Beauty.

How did you ensure your skin was glowing? With Fenty Beauty’s Body Lava Luminizer – it gives a great shimmer.

What was your wedding day fragrance? Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf (Dhs615). It’s my all-time favourite so that’s what I wanted to smell like on my big day.

And what was your husband’s fragrance? Creed Aventus.

HAIR:

What did you do in the run-up to the wedding? I had a trim just before the wedding at Sisters Beauty Lounge in Dubai as well as colouring my hair back to my natural colour because I wanted to have a more natural and timeless look.

What is your favourite at-home hair treatment? I use Gisou’s honey-infused hair mask and honestly, it’s the absolute best (Dhs160).

Finally, tell us about your big-day hairstyle? I picked my hairstyle because my friend Mina Al Sheikhly suggested I do an up-do as it’s a classic look that will last a lifetime. I’m really glad I went with her recommendation.
