Ambani Wedding: Radhika Merchant wears Manish Malhotra to Her Mameru
Pairing the look with her mother’s jewellery, the bride was all smiles, looking serene as the wedding festivities kicked off.
The wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant commenced with the traditional Gujarati ‘Mameru’ ceremony on Wednesday. Hosted at the opulent Ambani residence, this sacred ritual saw Radhika’s maternal uncle joyously presenting her with sweets and gifts.
Representing the groom’s family, Anant Ambani’s grandmother, Purnima Dalal, along with his aunt Mamta Dalal and other close relatives, gathered to bestow their blessings upon the couple. The gifts presented included a Panetar saree, exquisite jewellery, ivory chura (bangles), as well as an array of delectable sweets and dry fruits elegantly arranged in elegant trousseau trays.
The images and videos capturing the family home bedecked for the Mameru ceremony have captivated their followers on social media. The residence was adorned with vibrant hues of red, pink, and orange flowers, conjuring a festive and joyous ambiance. Filled with golden lights, the sumptuous surroundings set the stage for the evening’s special celebration.
On Monday night Rhea Kapoor shared a glimpse of the bride just days before she’s set to tie the knot, marrying Anant Ambani in what is expected to be this year’s most lavish wedding.
The picture of elegance, Radhika Merchant adorned herself with the jewels her mum wore at her own Mameru, including a bespoke Manish Malhotra Bandini lehenga crafted from Banarasi brocade in a resplendent shade of rani pink. The ensemble featured intricate gold taar zardosi embroidery and was trimmed with an embroidered shloka dedicated to Durga Maa. Her blouse, inspired by vintage Koti designs, added a touch of timeless sophistication. At her side her, Anant radiated pure happiness.

A constellation of celebrities including Janhvi Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Manushi Chhillar, alongside the entire Ambani family, came together to celebrate the couple’s love and upcoming nuptials.
