Rami Al Ali Launches His Fifth Ready-To-Wear Bridal Collection, White 5, And We Want One Of Every Piece

The Dubai-based designer has just unveiled his exquisite line at New York Bridal Fashion Week

Launching his namesake label Rami Al Ali Couture in 2001, the designer quickly rose to fame both in the Middle East and across the globe thanks to his bold creations, impeccable attention to detail and eternal pursuit of creating show-stopping gowns – landing clients including Beyoncé, Youssra and Nawal Al Kuwaitia.

Justly earning his sartorial stripes on runways and red carpets, the Syria-born creative extended his focus to bridal wear to great accolade with a couture bridal line, and more recently, ready-to-wear. Now, in its fifth season, White underpins Al Ali’s whimsical narrative and the result is a contemporary collection worthy of any bride-to-be’s wish list.

Taking inspiration from his iconic aesthetic, White 5 is a fanciful 12-piece collection with a truly modern feel. Built upon the fashion house’s prominent design codes, traditional, princess-style gowns and voluminous skirts compliment structured bodices, while elaborate architectural detailing causes a stir.

Delicate fabrics such as guipure, lace, tulle, organza, and mikado take centre-stage in a timeless colour palette of chic shades of white, with subtle dashes of silver that catch the light with every movement. Handcrafted embroideries and delicate beadwork further elevate the designs to dizzy heights meaning just one thing, how do you go about selecting only one gown for the big-day? Our advice: have several.
