Rami Kadi Launches A Ready-To-Wear Wedding Dress Collection
Rami Kadi Maison De Couture has designed its first-ever ready to wear bridal collection boasting 15 gorgeous gowns
Kendall Jenner, Salma Hayek and Najwa Karam have rocked his custom gowns on the red carpet and now, brides to-be can get a bespoke Rami Kadi gown for their big day too. The Lebanese designer admits that designing bridal wear has been a large part of his journey. “From the start, I was drawn to the emotional power of wedding gowns – the way they can tell a bride’s story and make her feel like her most beautiful self on one of the most important days of her life,” Rami tells us. “As I worked on more custom couture pieces for brides, I began to realise how deeply fulfilling it was to create something so personal and meaningful. Over time, it became clear to me that I wanted to make that same magic and sense of individuality more accessible to more women. So it was only natural to delve into the world of ready-to-wear and what better way to do it than with a bridal collection.”

From sketches to dresses, it has taken around three months for the collection to come together. Starting with original ideas, the designer worked on the designs, selection of fabrics and signature details that would make each gown unique.
“Once we had the concept, the real work began in the atelier, where every gown was carefully brought to life, one stitch at a time. It was a long process, but the vision was clear from the beginning, and seeing it all come together has been incredibly rewarding,” explains Rami.

The red carpet specialist admits that designing a bridal gown is different than a special-event dress but not for reasons one may think. “Designing for a bride is incredibly special because it’s not just about the dress – it’s about the emotion and the significance behind the moment. A wedding gown is deeply personal and symbolises one of the most important days in a woman’s life,” he says. “There’s a sense of intimacy and meaning in the process that you don’t always have with other types of gowns. With designing bridal gowns I have to keep in mind that this gown’s memory will live with my client and her future family across their whole lifetime. It could also be passed down across generations, as opposed to red carpet or event dresses that will only be remembered for the course of a couple weeks around the event and most of the times forgotten.”

In addition to this first-ever bridal ready-to-wear line, the designer also makes custom gowns for brides wanting their very own piece of Rami Kadi magic. “Bespoke bridal gowns are at the heart of what I do. Every bride is unique, and creating a custom gown that perfectly reflects her personality, her vision, and the story of her special day is something I truly love. While our ready to-wear bridal collection offers a variety of beautiful options, I’m always excited to work with brides one-on-one to design something entirely bespoke-tailored just for them,” says Rami.

For brides in the throes on wedding dress try-ons, Rami’s advice is simple: “Trust your instincts and choose a gown that makes you feel confident and beautiful. Focus on what reflects your personal style, not just what’s popular. Your wedding dress should be a true expression of who you are.”
