Taylor Tomasi Hill, artistic director of Moda Operandi, reminisces about her Dallas wedding to her high-school sweetheart, Chase

“I wanted it to be romantic and soft, and at the same time very simple,” says New York-based Tomasi Hill. The bride wore a breathtaking J.Mendel creation in soft gray – the first dress she tried on. “It was perfection,” she says. After a romantic church ceremony, the pair were whisked off to the reception, held at Nasher Sculpture Center Garden in Dallas. Tomasi Hill slipped into Alexander McQueen and the couple had their first dance to Diamond Rio’s Love a Little Stronger. “We always thought of this song as ‘our song’ growing up…It was very romantic and sweet” says the bride. Her favourite moment? “Being around all my closest friends. We stayed up and partied until the wee hours, and I will cherish the memories of everything that happened.”
