An Insider’s Glimpse Into Cérina Al Sahely’s Extravagant Beirut Wedding

From her breath-taking custom Elie Saab wedding dress to the stunning décor, influencer Lana El Sahely younger sister boasted some of the most lavish nuptials of 2021’s wedding season…

After Lebanese fashion blogger Lana El Sahely nearly broke the internet with her glamorous wedding back in 2014, nobody thought the festivities could be topped… until her younger sister, Cérina, officially tied the knot this past weekend.

Photos, videos and Instagram Stories from the wedding have taken social media by storm, as the Bride and her nearest and dearest celebrated the most important day of her life.

Captured by photographer Patrick Sawaya, the weekend long festivities kicked off with a traditional henna party with Cérina donning a white embroidered off-the-shoulder puffed sleeved dress by Rami Kadi, paired with a matching headband. Older sister Lana channelled a more boho-meets-sophistication look in a pink dress with an embellished cardigan by Hussein Bazaza, accessorised with dangling diamond earrings.

Naturally, both the bride and her entire family all looked stunning throughout the entire weekend, opting for Elie Saab’s exquisite creations for the majority of the celebrations, with Cérina a vision in a glittering custom gown and cathedral veil.

Lana wore a pink gown adorned with an intricate floral design and thanked the designer within an Instagram post, writing “… I have no words to thank you and your entire team for being like family and for putting so much love in everything you do. To each seamstress and tailor and person on the team, thank you thank you thank you. A pride for our country. Couture magic.”

She also opted to change into a second mint green creation by the Lebanese designer.

But that’s certainly not all. The weekend festivities included multiple events – which called for fresh looks for each one. At one party, Cérina wore an embellished rosy jumpsuit with a long cape and feathery shoulder pads, while Lana and her mother opted for white ones, complementing the bride’s look.

Lana also hosted a technicolour-inspired party in honour of the newlyweds, where the Bride was spotted wearing a 1930’s inspired beaded dress.
