Inside The Dreamy Spanish Wedding Of Count Carlos Fitz-James Stuart and Belén Corsini

From an intimate ceremony filled with romance to a beautiful bride, Bazaar shares everything you need to know about the nuptials that took place last week in Spain

At Madrid’s dreamy Liria Palace the Count of Osorno, Carlos Fitz-James Stuart y de Solís and new Countess of Osorno, Belén Corsini, exchanged vows last Saturday in an intimate ceremony that was every bit fairytale wedding in more ways than one…

The dreamy nuptials celebrated the union of two of Spain’s most important families, thought due to Covid-19 restrictions only a few family member and close friends were able to attend.

From the dreamy venue to the bride’s glowing outfit details, Bazaar brings you all the details of this celebration of love that looks as if it’s been lifted from the pages of a fairytale…

The Bride’s Look

Belén selected a classic look, opting for a timeless designer instead of a trendier look, with a beautiful off-white gown by fashion designer Cristina Martínez-Pardo Cobián – founder and designer of Spanish luxury brand, Navascués. The modest empire cut dress, that was made from natural silk georgette, featured a white V-neck and slightly puffed sleeves that added a touch of elegance to the bride’s look. However, the most striking and original detail was with no doubt the detachable veil, made in a delicate plumetti tulle and embellished with tiny pink flowers embroidered.

The new Countess of Osorno completed her outfit with a simple mid-length ponytail, a natural and flattering beauty look by Spanish wedding hair and makeup stylist, Álvaro Talavero.

The bride wore a pair of delicate pearl earrings and a jewel hair barrette from which the long veil came out.

The Groom’s Look

While the bride radiated elegance, Carlos Fitz-James Stuart de Solís stepped out with the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla’s traditional formal attire (which gave us some serious Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid vibes.)

The Venue

The couple chose the iconic gardens of Madrid’s Liria Palace – which is the official residence of the Alba’s family and also known as the “Royal Palace’s little brother” – to celebrate their special day surrounded by a dreamy spectacle of flowers provided by the own gardens on the outside and with Aquilea Flores’ additional special touch.

The beautiful Versaillesque gardens of Madrid’s Liria Palace transformed the wedding chapel and post-celebrations venue with the help of event planning company, A-Típica’s Wedding & Lifestyle team.

Ciboulette Catering made sure to add the culinary touch with a selection of sweet and savoury delicacies for all guests to enjoy.

Although this was meant to be an intimate ceremony for the notable Spanish families, we must admit this nuptial ended up being a dreamy fairytalesque ceremony where simplicity, elegance, modesty, and specially love, reigned all over.
