The e-tailer, who has been continuing to update their bridal offerings on the site's bridal boutique, turned to designer Alice Temperley for looks they felt would add to their pre-existing selection of wedding dresses and gowns, while also offering a little something extra.
"Bridal wear has taken on a modern, effortless approach in recent years, and Alice is really adapting to this growing demand," Net-A-Porter bridal buyer Holly Russell explained, "[her] hand-embellished bodices, lace-trimmed bell sleeves and delicate pleating [in this collection] truly embody everything we love...while introducing fresh, new elements to bridal wear."
Alice was inspired by the English countryside for the capsule, crediting the aesthetic as "dresses that inspire romance and nostalgia, with a touch of modern bohemia." It seems that to Temperley and Net-a-Porter, today's bride has a love of adventure – and demands timeless designs with a dash of irreverence to keep up with her taste, wants and needs for her big day.
Net-A-Porter x Temperley London Bridal is only currently available in the USA.
