We all know that bridal is big business, so it's no wonder that more and more designers are expanding their offering to include wedding dresses. ASOS just released its latest collection two weeks ago, and now fellow UK high street giant Topshop has revealed its first ever bridal collection, much to the delight of modern brides everywhere.
The collection features 30 pieces in total - five, limited edition bridal gowns and 25 bridesmaid dresses - as well as a selection of shoes, accessories and lingerie. The five bridal dresses range in price from Dhs1,000 to Dhs3,600 and include a variety of silhouettes including strapless, tie shoulder and Bardot styles. The dresses are made from bias-cut satin, draped lace and fine tulle and feature floral appliques in silk organza. Some of the styles feature dramatic trains whilst others are expertly layered, and each style exudes a vintage-inspired vibe. There's also a long-sleeved mini for those wanting a more contemporary take on a wedding dress à la Olivia Palermo.
The bridesmaid collection is made up of a range of colours and cuts, with something to flatter every body shape. Cold-shoulder ruffle dresses sit alongside appliqued gowns, strapless, structured lace midis and printed silk slip dresses with asymmetric hemlines - each offering an air of nonchalant elegance. Prices range from Dhs390-Dhs1,000.
There's no news yet on whether the collection will be available in-store in the Middle East but you will be able to shop it online from April 13.
