The first post-coronavirus major event will be held in Saudi Arabia towards the end of this month in honour of the Kingdom's 90th Saudi National Day, also known as Al-Yaom-ul-Watany, which is celebrated every year on September 23.
The celebrations will take place across the cities of Jeddah and Riyadh with 11 feature performances from the Arab world.
The concert will kick off in Jeddah,on September 22 with a performance from Emirati singer Ahlam at the King Abdullah Sports City. Other performers who will also make an appearance includes Amr Diab, Rashed Al Majed, Aseel Abu Bakr, Majid Al Mohandes, Abadi Al Johar, Dalia Mubarak, and Rabih Saqer, to name a few.
Hosted by the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), this year's celebrations will last over a period of five days.
The concert will follow strict COVID-19 guidelines to ensure social distancing and safety for everyone attending the event. There are a limited number of tickets available for each concert, with approximately 1,500 seats for the Riyadh shows. Fans, however, will also have the option to purchase tickets to watch a live stream of the concerts from the comfort of their home.
Tickets are already on sale and can be purcahsed at Virgin Megastore branches throughout the Kingdom.
