The popular sitcom’s much-loved couple, Monica and Chandler (a.k.a. ‘Mondler’) are actually cousins in real life… kind of.
Genealogy website MyHeritage revealed that it had information regarding the airing of the iconic reunion of the show.
They discovered that Perry and Cox share distant relatives: William Osbern Haskell III and Ellen Haskell, who were married and lived in England around 500 years ago.
“We went into this line very deeply, we checked every name. We found a lot of records that support it, and we have confidence that they are related,” Roi Mandel, the head of research at MyHeritage revealed to CNN.
While the news of their being ’11th cousins’ might be brand new information to the cast as well their fans, their off-screen camaraderie effortlessly sets new standards of friendship goals.
“Guess who I had lunch with today, I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends…” Courteney wrote on Instagram as she shared and image of herself alongside Matthew.
For now neither of them have come forward with a reaction to this claim though we would love to know what the duo has to say about this bizarre revelation.
