
Sheikh Mohammed Receives COVID-19 Vaccine
The ruler of Dubai took to his social media to share the news
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai has shared an image of him receiving a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on his Instagram and Twitter.

“We wish everyone safety and great health, and we are proud of our teams who have worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available in the UAE,” he wrote.
Earlier in September, the UAE Minister of Health, AbdulRahman Bin Mohammed Al Owais was also administered with the vaccine after it was declared safe for emergency use.
Since then, multiple UAE officials have taken the vaccine including Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed and Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi to name a few.

The vaccine under went a Phase III clinical trial with over 31,000 people volunteering to be part of the trial process in just six weeks.
“The future will always be better in the UAE,” wrote Sheikh Mohammed in his tweet, and we couldn’t agree more.
