The annual Abu Dhabi Dream Ball returns for another prestigious gala dinner that aims to make a significant difference in the lives of Middle Eastern women and children. Held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Cabinet member and the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, the latest edition will take place on December 9, 2021 at the W Hotel, Yas Island Abu Dhabi. Hosts for the evening will be TV presenter Tom Urquhart and Bazaar Arabia‘s contributing editor Rosemin Madhavji.

Founded by Abu Dhabi-based collective Sawtouna and in partnership with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, the annual event focuses on supporting important charitable causes, making this a key event in our social calendar. In collaboration with the Global Gift Gala, the 2021 edition aims to raise donations for the Lebanese Red Cross and The Gift Gala Foundation.

“It is our mission to bring the world’s attention to the rising challenges in the Middle East, which affect the lives of women and children. Collaborating with Global Gift Gala will help create greater awareness on our causes, and through this event, we are able to pave a path for a better future by fostering both hope and stability,” says Sawtouna and Abu Dhabi Dream Ball co-chairs, Nadine Maalouf and Nadia Sehweil.

This year’s guest list includes A-list celebrities and personalities like football legend Clarence Seedorf, Egyptian Hollywood film actor Mohammed Karim and leading social media talents, Mony Helal and Raghad Fahm, making this an occasion like no other.

The 2021 Abu Dhabi Dream Ball will be chaired by the Global Gift Foundation founder Maria Bravo and the founders of Sawtouna, Nadine Maalouf and Nadia Sehweil. And that’s not all, the Gift ambassadors this year are the popular Kattan sisters, Mona and Huda along with actress Eva Longoria who will be the honorary chair.

“I am delighted to be joining forces with one of the most prestigious events in the UAE social calendar, The Abu Dhabi Dream Ball.
