Inspired by the surrealist Belgian painter, René Magritte, Olympia Le-Tan has launched a limited edition collection of hand-embroidered clutches on Moda Operandi. Le-Tan has manifested the acclaimed artist’s work on the canvases of her signature bags with classic works such as Magritte’s La Reconnaissance Infinie, La Tempête and L’Acte De Foi. Olympia expresses her passion for Surrealist art and what inspired the collection,
She adds, “When his estate agreed to let us use his work, it was like a dream come true.” From literature book covers to surrealist art, the French designer has immortalised classic works into exquisite fashion accessories.
