Maison Valentino Collaborates With Five International Painters
Joining hands with emerging artists from around the world, the fashion house has just launched an exciting new campaign
A strong believer that art is a lens through which one can really feel and tap into their inner world, Italian fashion designer Pierpaolo Piccioli has been the sole creative director of Valentino as of 2016.
Ever since, he has produced awe-inspiring couture purely guided by his creative vision and intellect. Over the years, while experimenting with ideas and concepts, Pierpaolo has built a community of artists.

With the launch of the new ‘Painters Advertising Campaign’, the art world has officially entered the Maison Valentino universe, sparking conversation on desires, feelings, freedom and belief. For the artists chapter of Valentino Collezione Milano, Maison Valentino has collaborated with five international painters. Each painter is given complete freedom to craft an original piece of artwork including a Valentino Garavani accessory from the collection.
All five painters, including Louise Giovanelli from the UK, Alexis Ralaivao from France, Zhang Zihao from China, Nahum Kim from South Korea, and Iori Nagashima from Japan, reflect a pool of budding talent in their area of expertise and the global art scene.
Each work is a nod to the freedom, voice and creativity of each artist.
