This Hotel Just Launched The World’s First Half-Minimalist Half-Maximalist Hotel Room

The room was co-created by Katy Perry’s stylist Johnny Wujek and model-cum-influencer Kaitlyn Ham

Travelling with your partner who prefers parred back, minimalist interiors, whilst you’re after a wow-worthy space that will definitely be the best thing your Instagram feed has ever seen? Now you don’t have to compromise.

Hotels.com unveiled the world’s first half-minimalist half-maximalist hotel room. The So Extra So Chic suite, which can be found at The Curtain Hotel in London and is available to book from now until 29 October, is, quite literally, a bedroom split literally straight down the middle.

The design was co-created by stylist to the stars Johnny Wujek (one guess which side of the room this fashion powerhouse worked on), who commented on the launch saying, “I wanted my side of the room to feel exciting and EXTRA but also comfy and cozy. It’s a touch of overgrown Great Expectations with a dash of California casual. Style is all about self-expression and, clearly, I have a lot to express.”

Speaking about her minimalist half of the suite, model and influencer Kaitlyn Ham (who you pay know from her uber trendy feed @Kaity_Moden) also said, “I took inspiration from modern mid-century design to create a space that feels open and calming. All the pieces were chosen for their style and functionality with a focus on quality. The space should feel modern and light yet have an inviting warmth that makes it feel like home.”
