16 of The Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes
Kylie Jenner
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters transformed herself into Frankenstein’s Bride, in custom haute couture by Jean Paul Gaultier, no less.
Alaa Balkhy
The Saudi creator, entrepreneur and designer roped in her whole family for this one, including adorable baby Aziza. The new mother and her husband went as beekeepers, while their daughter was dressed as a bee.
Ananya Panday
The up-and-coming Bollywood actress dressed up as one of the most iconic characters in Bollywood pop culture, Pooja ‘Poo’ Sharma, from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Also celebrating her birthday, she went all out, recreating the whole scene from the film.
Kim Kardashian
Kim took cosplaying to a new level while dressing up as Mystique from the X-Men, complete with head-to-toe bright blue skin and piercing yellow eyes. The star looked unrecognisable and didn’t hold back on pulling out all the stops.
Halle Bailey
Another contender for the wildest transformation is the star of the soon-to-be-released The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey. The young singer, who made waves for having been cast as the first woman of colour in the role of Ariel, was Neytiri from Avatar.
Kendall Jenner
Another one from the family, Kendall dressed up as Jessie the Cowgirl from Toy Story II, putting a fun twist on the outfit.

Ariana Grande
Halloween came early for Ariana, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t understand the assignment. The songstress transformed into Jennifer Coolidge from the movie Best In Show.
Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch
The popular trio and stars of hit television series Riverdale once again showed us how to attain #SquadGoals, dressing up as everyone’s favourite childhood witches: Sarah, Mary, and Winifred Anderson from Hocus Pocus.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly
The love birds dressed up as one of the most iconic couples of all time, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, even recreating a recognisable photograph from their relationship.
Jessica Alba
The actress really went straight for the creeps, dressing up as one of the two terrifying twins from The Shining. The dress, the shoes, the hair and the deadpan expression – she really slipped into character for this one.
Paris Hilton
The socialite-turned-entrepreneur and fragrance queen slipped into the character of Sailor Moon from the iconic Japanese animated series. Her shiny blonde hair was the perfect fit for the character and we must say, we are thoroughly impressed.
Emma Chamberlain
The influencer and YouTube star had a #Twinning moment with Jessica Alba, also cosplaying as one of the twins from The Shining. Between the two, we can’t tell which one is more unsettling but we’re here for it.
Lori Harvey
The American model, socialite, entrepreneur and Steve Harvey’s daughter channeled Beyoncé from the ‘Check On It‘ music video, replicating the singing sensation’s Barbie pink costumes and candy vibes.
Kelly Rowland
The powerhouse singer and Destiny’s Child alum dressed up as Catwoman and we can’t keep calm. She slipped into full character with a shiny, glossy leather catsuit and the attitude to go with it.
Janelle Monae
Perhaps the most unrecognisable of all was Janelle Monae, transforming into an all-blue-everything alien superstar, Diva Plavalaguna from The Fifth Element, staying true to character and belting out some tunes.
Jade Thirlwall
One-third of the popular girl group Little Mix, Jade dressed up as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin and did it perfectly, complete with the flowing long hair in a bubble ponytail and the turquoise costume.
Keke Palmer
The American actress recreated a childhood favourite, Rapunzel, giving the character her own twist with deep black braids rather instead of the yellow-blonde locks from the story. Hilariously, the costume comes as a response to an old request from a fan.
Hailey Bieber
The supermodel was a true vision of beauty in a full floral costume inspired by Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture from 1999. She completed the look with a tulle train and more flowers on her crown and her heels.
The model also opted for a super stylish Versace vampire look as her second costume.
Shanaya Kapoor
Veteran actor Sanjay Kapoor and jewellery designer Maheep Kapoor’s daughter became Anne’s Hathaway’s iconic character Mia Thermapolis from The Princess Diaries. She replicated several moments, including a memorable poster and stills from the film.
