The new stage musical embodying the life of Chanel founder Coco Chanel will soon be available for fans to watch on MBC’s Shahid.
Coco Chanel has been the ultimate feminine standard of style for years, and who better to act out the story of her life than the iconic Sherihan. A lawyer, an actress, a mother, a fighter and one of the most inspirational women the Arab World has seen drawing smiles on millions of faces daily.
While the premiere date is yet to be announced, Turki Al-AlShikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi confirms that the project is airing soon.
“Soon… The return of the star Sherihan after a long absence in the play Coco Chanel on the Shahid platform, sponsored by the Entertainment Authority,” wrote AlShikh on the latest promo reveal on Instagram.
Prior to this exciting partnership, Sherihan starred in an elaborate advertisement for Vodaphone Egypt during Ramadan. She was the perfect embodiment of the strong and resilient Arab woman that has overcame all the struggles she faced throughout her lifetime, including her battle with cancer.
