Akon and his wife Rozina Negusei have been in the UAE enjoying a lovely trip along with former Real Housewife of Atlanta star, Porsha Guobadia and her husband Simon Iyore Guobadia, Bazaar Arabia explores all they have been up to so far…
The UAE is a hotspot for many celebrities to visit with all of the wonders it has to offer. From luxury hotels to golf courses to experiencing traditional cuisine and culture there are an abundance of places to visit and things to do. Recently, Akon, a renowned international singer along with his wife Rozina Negusei, entrepreneur, record label executive and many more roles, are enjoying a trip in the UAE. The stars are also here with, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star and national best-selling author of The Pursuit of Porsha, Porsha Guobadia and her entrepreneur husband Simon Iyore Guobadia.

Enjoying the Emirates experience:
The former RHOW of Atlanta star, Porsha and Akon’s wife, Rozina Neguesi both posted photos to Instagram clearly enjoying their experience with reputable airline Emirates. From Turkish coffees to the airlines comfortable seats the couples UAE trip kicked off in true luxury.
Staying at the lavish, Atlantis the Royal:
Porsha Guobadia shared a video to her Instagram of their suite at the new Atlantis the Royal hotel in Dubai. Her and her husband, Simon’s suite boasts gorgeous views of the water and has its own pool situated on the terrace with two sun beds facing the view. The new opulent hotel had a star-studded opening earlier this year in February where Beyonce also performed for guests.
Attending concerts:
Porsha and Simon attended the Davido concert at Dubai’s Coca-Cola arena together earlier on this month. A few of Porsha’s friends also joined them for the concert that evening.
Spending time golfing:
Simon Guobadia is an avid golfer. Naturally, being in Dubai he had to make use of the stunning golf courses Dubai has to offer. Simon posted a photo to his Instagram at the Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai. Captioning it “testing my endurance in Dubai’s 101+ degree temperature #golfaddict.” He also added a screenshot of the temperature that day to his photo carousel to convey his dedication to the sport.
Enjoying cuisines from the MENA region:
Porsha took to her Instagram to share her experience trying cuisines from the MENA region for the first time. On the post she thanked friend, Nadir Bin Nasir, entrepreneur and Ihsan for taking them to the culinary delight where she tried camelback for the first time!
Visit to Abu Dhabi’s International Hunting, Equestrian and Heritage Exhibition
The celebrity couples joined together for their visit to the Exhibition where they took part in various activities. From archery to falcon petting the couples appeared to enjoy their visits to what is, as shared by Simon Guobadia, “the largest Exhibition in the Middle East and African region.” Porsha also shared photos of beautiful portraits of UAE rulers and various sculpture’s.
