American singer Becky G has been in a relationship with footballer Sebastian Lletget since 2016 and the couple announced their engagement late last year in an adorable set of photos they shared on Instagram.
The soccer sensation got down on one knee and proposed to his long-term girlfriend at sunset at the Manhattan beach pier where the pair had their first date and their romantic journey began.
However, the picturesque dream did not last long as yesterday the FC Dallas midfielder took to Instagram to share a lengthy statement in which he vaguely recounted a recent encounter involving trauma and heartbreak in response to cheating rumours.
Describing it as a “10-minute lapse in judgement,” Sebastian announced that he will be committing himself to a mental wellness program to work on the parts of himself that “deeply need healing” and apologized to Becky.
However, neither the athlete nor his Latin Grammy-nominated partner has deleted their posts on Instagram featuring each other. While fans of the Shower singer are taking to social media to show their support for their favourite musician, others are curious to know: Are Becky G and Sebastian Lletget still together?

However, the most damning piece of evidence as reported by iHeartRadio is the lack of an engagement ring on Becky’s finger. The huge, oval-cut diamond ring that the musician gleefully showed off in her engagement announcement is nowhere to be seen on her hand.
Unlike other red carpet appearances the singer has made recently including the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, Sebastian wasn’t seen with her this time, only fuelling the rumours of infidelity and a split.
