The Weeknd, on the other hand, has a devoted fanbase of his own, they call themselves the XO crew. Primarily exploring R&B and hip-hop genres, this collaboration between two distinct styles of music has ignited an unprecedented level of excitement among fans.

The Weeknd took to Twitter to share the long-awaited song’s details, responding to a hate comment with a touch of humor. He stated, “not you again LOL you thought I wouldn’t recognize you because you changed your DP… dropping that Jennie song this weekend for you! Get the bucket ready.”

Jennie had previously confirmed the collaboration back in May at a Calvin Klein pop-up event in Seoul.
