Why Was Bella Hadid Riding A Horse Through The Streets of NYC?
The American-Palestinian-Dutch supermodel showed off her rodeo skills last week with her boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, by her side
If anyone knows how to bring out our inner cowgirl it’s Bella Hadid.
An equestrian enthusiast, the 27-year-old model has always been open about her love of riding (which, coincidentally brought her latest love into her life, rodeo star Adan Banuelos), sharing snippets of her life on her Pennsylvanian ranch with her followers on Instagram.
Last week the Bazaar Arabia cover star and Adan took to the streets of New York City with horses Canelo and Chapo to show off their Cutting Horse skills, a technique cowboys use to herd cattle.

While it’s an important skill to have when working on a ranch, cutting has become a bona fide sport in the rodeo world – and Adan is a champion cutter, having been admitted to the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame.
How long have Bella Hadid and Adan Banuelos Been Dating?
Reports first emerged in October 2023 that the pair were dating, however, it wasn’t confirmed until February 2024 that Bella and Adan confirmed they were officially an item.
Back in 2018 Bella shared philosophical insight when it comes to the emotions that fuel her inner life. “For me, love enriches all parts of my body. Whether that is giving love to someone who needs it, to fulfil my head; receiving love, to fulfil my heart; or teaching how to love, to fulfil my soul,” she told Bazaar Arabia.
Why Was Bella Hadid Riding A Horse Through The Streets of New York with Her Boyfriend?
While out-of-the-box activations are ever present at fashion weeks around the world, it may have felt a bit… random to some passers-by to spot a supermodel on a horse with her rodeo star boyfriend, showing off their skills in the Meatpacking district last Thursday, as NYFW came to a conclusion.
The event was held to promote a new documentary film, Windows To The West: Horse Sense, by Western lifestyle and media company Teton Ridge. The film follows Adan and his Horse Cutting career.
The event also hosted a pop-up by Kemo Sabe, a high-end Western wear brand.
Bella share video clips and photos of the event with her followers on Instagram.
“Thank you for this crazy magical opportunity my love @ab_performancehorses,” she wrote in the caption. “I am so proud of you and all that you do. I see you and how hard you work everyday, and for you to be recognized in this way was so beautiful to watch. I keep looking back and I’m just grateful to be a part of it.” Bella also thanked the team for taking excellent care of horses Canelo and Chapo (“These horses are more loved and spoiled than you can ever imagine, and they really do love showing off!”), before congratulating her beau.
The event and documentary were sponsored by Brumbaugh’s Furniture & Design.
It’s been a busy few months for Bella, who was officially announced as Chopard’s newest global ambassador just a few days ago.
The budding entrepreneur also recently launched a new perfume with her fragrance brand, Ôrəbella at the end of the summer.
